It’s Christmas time—AGAIN. Time for hot chocolate, decorations, church services, snowball fights…and questions. Can the same story really feel fresh and relevant for our lives? Can the Christ-child in the manger have anything to do with sibling quarrels and insecurities? Join sisters Isabel, Emory, and Ellie as they use a little Imagination to explore what it means to see the Christmas story with new eyes.
After a Christmas Eve service at their church and an argument in front of their Christmas tree, the girls fall asleep and experience a shared dream in which they encounter their hometown in a different light. As they are led by their Imaginations through the doorways of various shops, the traditions of Christmas come alive in fun and surprising ways. As they step through the door of their church, they realize that something is different there as well. They find themselves transported to another place where they encounter the Bethlehem story in new ways. Can what they learn seep into their hearts and minds and change the way they see each other, themselves, and the world around them?

Theme Weeks
Emphasis Weeks
Celebrate hosts theme weeks throughout the year including "Roll Out of Bed Week", "Glow in the Dark Week", "Wear Your Favorite Costume Week" and more! Participation is optional - but so much fun!
Picture Day
All dancers participate in individual and group photos wearing their recital costume. We look forward to capturing these special memories April 12th, 2025!
Several times per year, CDA classes take a deeper look at some important topics! Dance History Week, Wellness Week, Art & Faith Week and more!
Dress Rehearsals & Recitals
Dress Rehearsal is a chance for each class to practice their recital dance on stage and in their costume! Participation helps dancers feel confident and ready for the recital. Most dancers will only need to attend one dress rehearsal.
